Are You Just Snipping Dandelion Heads?

Where I live, summer means dandelions.

And if we don't stay on top on them, POOF!

They immediately go to seed and spread like some kind of pox.

So as soon as I see them popping up in the yard, I run out and snip off their heads.

Ha! I think to myself. "Gotcha!"

But I haven't got anything. Because minutes later (I'm not even sure this is an exaggeration) the grass is dotted again with little blots of yellow.

This year I decided to actually deal with the problem.

And not just because I want to be a good neighbour, but because I don't want to be stuck on the QUICK-FIX TREADMILL of DENIAL.

Snipping off the heads and pretending the weeds aren't there doesn't solve anything.

That's why I bought the deluxe dandelion removal lawn tool. You have to dig in DEEP and take them out by the root.

It's the same thing with chronic false fear and anxiety.

Coping strategies don't do it. Busyness, overeating, drinking, fighting with your spouse—they're just temporary distractions. They work for awhile, but they keep you stuck in a loop of avoidance.

And that comes at too high a price.

If you're tired of just snipping dandelion heads, let's talk.

Let's partner up and start pulling those weeds out by the roots.

I want you to get off the endless treadmill Not just so you can enjoy your summer, but so you can actually start enjoying your life.

Sending you so much love,

P.S. While it's true that anxiety can be caused by neurotransmitter imbalances in the brain, (as well as high cortisol, or imbalances caused by an unhealthy diet,) the biggest contributing factors I see are dysfunctional patterns of thought, unfinished emotional business, unresolved trauma, and unhealthy boundaries.

And I can help with that! (Yes, I refer clients out to a therapist if we bump up against anything that's too big for the coaching container.)

The bottom line is this: A lot of stress is caused by your thinking style, or mistaken beliefs about yourself, or intrusive thoughts you never question. And that, my darling, is the ROOT we need to get at. CLICK HERE to book a free consultation.
